The adventure of Chloe King begins when Chloe is pushed off
the Coit Tower. Then the episode rewinds to two days prior,
to Chloe's 16th birthday. She and her friends, Amy and
Paul, make plans to go a dance club, despite them being
underage. At the club, Chloe meets a boy named Xavier and
dances with him. Before leaving, she kisses him, something
she has been longing to do. A mysterious man begins to stalk
her. At school, when she is talking to Amy, Alek, an
obnoxious jock (who is the hottest guy in the school),comes
over to bother them when Chloe takes a basketball out of his
hands and throws it in the trashcan, making it a perfect
shot. Alek later hits on her and tries to kiss her, but his
cousin, Jasmine stops him. Chloe then meets a boy named
Brian at work and later goes on a coffee date with him.
After dinner with Amy that night, Chloe almost gets mugged
by a homeless man, but Chloe defends herself by scratching
him with her new cat-like nails. The story continues after
Chloe is pushed off the tower, where she disappears and runs
away from Alek and Jasmine, who are attempting to save her.
They inform her that she is a Mai and they realize that
Chloe is the one to save their race from human assassins.
Chloe has been granted nine lives and superhuman abilities.
And that when she kissed Xavier, she killed him. Chloe,
upset, goes home and discovers the bruise she acquired from
falling off the tower on her back has disappeared. Amy
arrives at Chloe's house, upset that her new boyfriend Paul
has skipped their date. Paul calls Chloe revealing he was
kidnapped by the same man Chloe was killed by. Amy and Chloe
drive to an abandoned warehouse, where Chloe receives help
from Jasmine and Alek. Jasmine later takes a hit for Chloe,
since she only has eight lives to live now. Chloe gets a
email from her missing father, warning her not to trust
anybody. It is also revealed that Brian is the son of one of
the men attempting to kill Chloe.

Chloe is feeling guilty over Xavier's death and goes to his
funeral to learn that his parents blame his drug addict
brother Gabriel for his death, and Chloe wants to make up
for having to do with it, although it's seems that Brian's
dad and Chloe's assassin may have been involved his death
as well. Alek still watches out for Chloe, and Chloe's
friends think she's a superhero, though she thinks she's a
'super-freak' and doesn't understand her new found
culture. Chloe is also freaked out by the romance with Brian
because she's still haunted by Xavier's death. Brian
understands and tells Chloe about his mother who was
murdered. Later Chloe and Alek, who's still following Chloe
around for her sake, save Gabriel from drug dealers, and
Alek warns Chloe that if she continues seeing Brain one of
them will get hurt and offers to answer any questions she
has about Mai. Chloe later decides to take her mom's advice
about taking risks in life and is seen talking to Brian on
the phone. While on the phone, she hears a noise on her
roof, dismissing it as Alek. Unknown to her, it is actually
the assassin on her roof, waiting to catch Chloe at her
weakest point.

Chloe meets Valentina (Alicia Coppola), the leader of the
San Francisco Mai who is also Jasmine's mom. Valentina
suggests that Chloe go into hiding to remain safe. Chloe
remains unsure of abandoning her life because of her mom and
friends. The Scarface killer is still out and he begins
stalking Chloe's loved ones. After a talk with Valentina,
Chloe is informed that the Mai and humans coexist, but they
just don't mix. Amy performs at local talent show with Paul
cheering for her. Scarface, as dubbed by Chloe and her
friends, steals Chloe's mother's cell phone and calls
Chloe on it. Chloe agrees to give herself up. When she
arrives, Scarface traps Chloe and throws her into the river
to drown. As Chloe struggles, Jasmine arrives and fights him
off until Chloe is free of her binds and ropes. They fight
him off together, but are eventually cornered, only for
Valentina to kill Scarface. Chloe goes back home and shares
a moment with her mom, not worrying about going into hiding
and getting killed.

Chloe adjusts to having sonic hearing and is getting certain
vibes from people. Valentina tells her all Mai were
empathic, but only the Uniter is now. Chloe and Amy get into
a fight as Amy doesn't seem to fit in Chloe's new life and
with Chloe saying "We may pretend I'm the old Chloe,
but I'm not" and refusing to apologize to Amy
although they reconcile. The Order needs to figure out a new
plan and Chloe has to protect her manager, Lana, from her
abusive ex boyfriend. Valentina pays Brian's dad a visit
and gives him a warning. Chloe is seen in training with
Jasmine and Alek and is slowly embracing who she is.

Chloe hangs out with two Brazilian Mai girls and learns
their outlook differs vastly from hers. Meanwhile, Brian is
upset that Whitley's forcing him to go back to college.
Paul uses Chloe's words of wisdom on his romance with Amy.
Alek and Valentina are absent in this episode. As if being
responsible for the San Francisco Mai wasn't enough
pressure, Chloe meets Nikki and Lilah, who are both members
of the South American Mai. The two girls invite Chloe out
for a night of dancing, which she accepts, but Jasmine is
suspicious of their motives. As their visit continues, Chloe
becomes increasingly frustrated with the way Nikki and Lilah
view human life, potentially creating a divide between the
different Mai prides.

Brian invites Chloe to the Rezza Art Gallery, in hopes of
taking things further. Alek takes his jealousy out by
putting Chloe through more aggressive training, and a new
girl, Mimi, another Mai, moves into town, and is seen with
Alek. Amy moves on from Paul, after the incident, to a new
student named Jonah, who turns out to be a gambler secretly
cheating. It puts her into danger of being killed, and she
calls Paul, and it's Paul to the rescue, who also brings
Chloe. In the end of the episode, Brian tells Chloe that he
thinks that they cannot remain friends, and reveals that he
is falling in love with her. As he leans in for a kiss,
Chloe says that it isn't going to work out and they can't
see each other anymore, and she runs away crying as the
episode draws to an end.

Paul and Amy realize Alek has feelings for Chloe.
Compassionate to the needs of others, Chloe is unable to
turn her back on Kai (Colton Haynes), a young grungy teen
who asks Chloe for help in reuniting with his family.
Although she eventually learns that Kai is a huge threat to
the Mai's safety, Chloe insists on helping him return home.
Accompanied by Alek, Jasmine, Paul and Amy, a determined
Chloe begins the dangerous journey into Jackal territory.
Alek and Jasmine's worst fears are realized when Chloe's
mission takes a terrible turn and one Mai could be lost
forever. Meanwhile, even though it has been ten years since
Chloe's father vanished, Meredith still feels guilty about
dating Frank. In an attempt to move on with their lives,
Meredith asks Chloe if she is okay with declaring her father
dead, unaware that the two have been in contact. Alek later
confronts Chloe about his feelings for her, he kisses her,
and Chloe kisses him back.

Chloe must come to terms on telling her mother the truth,
especially when Meredith accidentally reads her email
messages. Tension in the King household is at an all-time
high due to Meredith's increasing frustration with Chloe's
penchant for secrecy. Aware that her relationship with her
mother is suffering, Chloe must decide whether she will
finally confess her biggest secret to the most important
person in her life. Also, her relationship with Alek is
tested as she tries to sort out her feelings. Brian,
meanwhile, is trying to move on from Chloe but finds himself
accepting her help regardless. When Chloe puts her mother in
danger, Chloe entrusts Alek with her and her mother's
safety.

Alek meets Jasmine's date, Zane, a visiting member of the
New York pride. Paul offers Alek some advice about Chloe.
When Alek wants to show Chloe what she means to him, he
instead finds himself having to deal with Brian. Meanwhile,
Chloe tries to save Frank's daughter, Vanessa from running
away with her much older boyfriend.When Vanessa goes
missing, Chloe requests Alek's help to go save her from
being sold via human trafficking. They rescue Vanessa and
Chloe makes her promise not to tell anyone that she was the
one who rescued her. The show ends with Zane revealing to be
a spy for the Order and Chloe and Alek sharing a kiss on her
roof.

After finding out his grandmother is alive, Brian and Chloe
pay her a visit. After they leave it is revealed that his
Grandmother is actually Simone's mother. Before leaving the
house Chloe gets an email from her father saying that they
need to meet. Chloe returns home and finds out that her
mother told Amy about how Chloe has been recieving emails
from her father. Chloe tells Amy about how he wants to meet
with her. At the mai house Valentina has returned to find
out Zane has come and is now dating her daughter. While Alek
has been wondering where Chloe is and has found out she was
with Brian. Chloe then goes home to her mom to explain her
feelings about Brian. She then reveals she is in love with
him. While Meredith goes to meet an investor for work Chloe
goes upstairs to see that Alek had listened to Chloe reveal
that she is in love with Brian leaving Alek hearbroken.
While Alek leaves out the window Chloe recieves another
email from her father saying for her to meet him at Hanna's
last stop which is a theatre. While leaving her house she
runs into Brian and him convincing her to let him give her a
ride to a restaurant she claims she is going to meet Amy for
dinner. Brian drops Chloe off to see she ran across the
street in the oppsite direction of the restaurant. Brian
shows up at theatre telling Chloe he will not leave until he
know she is safe. While at the mai household Jasmine has
gone to meet Zane for a date, however Zane shows up at the
house telling Valentina Jasmine told him to come here and
shoots Valentina with a poision dart, paralyzing her.
Jasmine then comes home to find her mom in a chair not
moving and touching her making her fall to the floor. While
on the floor Valentina makes a movement with her eyes saying
somebody is behind her. Jasmine turns and Zane shoots a
dart, but misses. They then start fighting. Chloe goes
upstairs in the theatre hearing a noise. Then sees a man who
is not her father and two other men. She defeats the men and
runs downstairs to find Simone with a gun and shoots Chloe
multiple times making her fall to the ground. Brian runs in
hearing the gun shots and kisses Chloe while saying I Love
You several times. Realizing what Chloe has done (killed
Brian by kissing him) she starts crying. At the mai
household Zane has stabbed Jasmine in the stomach and she
falls to the floor with a single tear running down her cheek
staring at her mother. Alek then walks in the see them both
dead on the floor and tells Zane "I'm gonna kill
you..." with Zane's reply "Is that any way to
talk to your brother?" Amy and Paul walk in to the
theatre to see Chloe sitting on the stairs with Brian in her
lap and her saying "He's Dead." This is the
series finale of the show.
